Last week I was the moderator of a panel discussion at the annual customer day ‘Innovations to Success’ of the successful Dutch Dynamics 365 partner Axians in Utrecht.
The discussion was called the ‘ERP Battle’. The reason for that name was that I had prepared a number of statements with provocative answer possibilities in the domain of ERP project success and failure.
How did this work?
The audience actively participated in this discussion by voting via their phones using Mentimeter.
The outcomes were discussed with a panel on stage, composed of two Axians representatives, staffed with different and sometimes even conflicting opinions. Although the time was limited, it was really fun to do. The audience was actively involved. And the answers and the reactions of the two panel members were fierce and sometimes even humorous.
In the end we were all inspired and learned something new about the best path towards ERP project success.
Reaction Axians
This is what Business Unit director Bert Wijnholds said about this battle:
“Last week during the Axians customer day, I was able to actively participate in the ERP Battle led by Guus Krabbenborg. As a moderator, Guus challenged, inspired and ensured a balanced discussion with our customers. Thanks to his interaction with the audience and the use of digital tools, it became a lively session with valuable insights.”
I want to thank Axians for having me and wish the team success with the event follow-up.
