Last week I was speaker and panel moderator at the Dutch event Dynamics Days in Zeist.
This new event is an initiative of 7 smart Dutch ISVs in the Dynamics 365 partner channel. They missed an event for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central end users since Microsoft stopped organizing her Convergence events back in 2015.
Keynote presentation
In my keynote presentation I spoke about the transformational part of Digital Transformation. We discussed why most of these initiatives have difficulties. What usually causes this. And what you can (and must!) do to avoid that.
Panel discussion
At the end of the event I moderated a fun panel discussion. With two customers and two ISV directors on stage. And all participants actively participating by voting on statements via their phones. We had great discussions about the choice between customisation or standard software, whether IT or the business is responsible for reporting and BI and finally about the best approach and potential impact of AI.
The feedback
This is what co-organiser Klaas Mollema said about my contribution:
“To successfully lead an event like the Dynamics Days, you need a good chairperson who can also present a relevant and sparkling keynote. Guus Krabbenborg is the right person for this! Due to his unique way of presenting, his extensive international experience in the Dynamics environment and his gift for successfully leading an event, this first edition of the Dynamics Days has become a great success. We also greatly appreciated his coaching of the speakers and his valuable input in the preparation.”
I want to thank the organisation for having me and wish them all the best for the second edition of this new tradition that is already planned for October 2nd, 2025.
